About the Role
- To contribute to the organisation, management and provision of high-quality Emergency Medicine specialist assessment and clinical care to residents of aged care facilities within their own environment, who would otherwise have been transferred to an Emergency Department; this care may be provided in person or via telehealth consultation.
- To provide professional leadership, education, and supervision to other health care members within the CAREPACT team, and to be an active contributor to the multidisciplinary patient care team. This includes the training, assessment and mentoring and a training registrar for Australian College of Emergency Medicine.
- To actively participate in patient safety, audit, research, and service planning activities.
