You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday). **About this work area** - As an IKEA Food Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: - Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience. - Food preparation, cooking, serving and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels and cooking methods. - Processing dishes and maintaining the washing up area and machines whilst supporting and maintaining the cleanliness of the customer restaurant. - Active selling, cash handling, operation of ovens & fryers. **Who you are** - As an IKEA Food Co-worker you are: - Experienced with working in a fast paced, hands-on environment. - Previous hospitality and cookery experience is highly regarded. - Dedicated to delivering a welcoming and positive customer experience by engaging with guests in a friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable manner, ensuring their needs are met. - Committed to maintaining high standards by consistently following IKEA Food and uniform policies, including strict adherence to HACCP routines, hygiene practices, and food safety checks. - Enthusiastic about working within a team of like-minded people. - Passionate, committed, and have a love for food in its quality and presentation. **We need people like you** - At IKEA, work is so much more than a job.
