We nurture your development and provide career opportunities to unlock your potential. **What you need to know** - Working at IKEA has its benefits and rewards: - 5 weeks’ Paid Annual Leave, Paid Parental Leave, Family & Community Leave and much more - 24/7 access to our Employee Assistance Program for health and wellbeing support - 15% Co-worker discount - Low-cost nutritious meals including complimentary drinks in our Co-worker restaurant - Co-worker uniform provided - Free Co-worker parking - Bonus programme (where eligible) - Benefits Membership (savings and discounts on everyday expenses, entertainment, retail and well-being offers across hundreds of retailers and service providers) - Co-worker Loyalty programme (extra contribution to your superannuation fund where eligible) Additional Information: - This role is Permanent, Full-time, 76hrs/fortnight - Applications close Friday 24th October 2025 - This role requires availability to work a range of hours from 7:00am - 10:00pm weekdays and alternating weekends per fortnight. **About this work area** - As a Product Quality and Recovery Team Leader your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: - Engaging and assist customers in understanding their needs and providing your knowledge on IKEA products and services to support their purchasing decisions. - Present IKEA products in As-Is using a strong commercial expression, selling these products with pride and setting relevant prices that are attractive to customers yet still generate the best results for the store. - Take necessary action on products to give them a second chance, such as repackaging them back into a saleable condition. - Assembling our products according to proper building and enclosed instructions to ensure complete functionality. - Support the quality work in the store to constantly improve customers' quality perception of IKEA products. - Always consider the sustainability impact when deciding when and how to recover products. - Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment that cultivates a strong understanding of product recovery, quality and compliance processes. - Maintaining a safe and secure environment within the IKEA store, always ensuring the well-being of both customers and co-workers. - Looking to develop and grow within the business. **Who you are** - As a Product Quality and Recovery Team Leader you have: - A ‘Togetherness’ mindset where you’ll work closely with your team and other departments yet also be able to work independently. - Minimum 1 year of leadership experience with previous experience in leading a team. - A passion for building furniture, our products, and our sustainability initiatives. - Experience with regular use of computers and IT systems. - Strong customer focus, ensuring we keep the customer in mind no matter what we do. - Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment and ability and be able to think outside of the box. - A safety mindset and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling including repetitive heavy lifting. - Motivated, results-driven mindset that does not shy away from challenges. - Comfortable with the physicality associated with this role, similar to a warehouse co-worker. **We need people like you** - At IKEA, work is so much more than a job.
