**THE ROLE**

**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**
- Lead and manage a team and fostering career pathways and development, monitoring and reporting on performance to identify emerging issues, and developing and implementing strategies and actions to address any issues.
- Provide authoritative advice to the Minister for Multicultural Affairs, the Secretary and senior executives on relevant policies, programs, and issues relating to the multicultural portfolio.
- Initiate, lead and contribute to policy analyses and coordination processes to support the implementation of government policy in the portfolio.
