**Job Description: Fence Installer**

Position: Fence and gate Installer

Location : Canberra

**Job Type**: Part time

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install different types of fences (wood, colorbond, chain-link, Alminium, etc.) according to project specifications and customer requirements.
- Measure and layout installation areas to ensure accuracy and proper placement.
- Dig post holes and set posts securely in concrete or other materials.
- Cut, assemble, and secure fencing materials.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner.
- Ensure all installations meet local codes, regulations, and quality standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle any necessary repairs or adjustments to existing fences.
- Work independently or as part of a team, depending on the project.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in fence installation or a related construction field.
- Knowledge of fencing materials, tools, and techniques.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or installation plans.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenges on-site.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred
- Experience with power tools and machinery.
- Knowledge of local zoning laws and regulations related to fencing.

**Job Types**: Subcontract, Contract

Pay: $27.35 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Expected Start Date: 25/12/2025
