About the role

We are seeking a Fencers Labourer to join our team at Fence this and Landscape' in Canberra, ACT. This is a full-time position that will see you assisting our experienced fencing installers with a variety of tasks on residential and commercial construction sites. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our operations, contributing to the success of our fencing and landscaping projects.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assisting fencing installers with loading, unloading and transporting materials to work sites
  2. Digging post holes and trenches as required
  3. Mixing and pouring concrete for fence posts
  4. General labouring duties to support the fencing installation process
  5. Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment
  6. Identifying and reporting any potential health and safety issues

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience as a labourer or in a similar construction support role
  2. Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks
  3. Effective communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
  4. A positive, can-do attitude and the willingness to learn
  5. A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transport
  6. Completion of White Card, Asbestos and Silica Cards.
