About the role

We are seeking a Design Lead to join the Creative Services team. You will lead the design execution for the Design Hub, ensuring quality standards are world class, brand guidelines are consistently implemented, and design deliverables are consistent across channels. This includes developing and delivering high impact visual design across a variety of digital and traditional platforms.

An experienced people leader, you will act as single point of contact for Design team members supporting team member administration, our A&D cycle and development plans and fostering an engaged and dynamic creative design team.

You will be required to collaborate cross functionally with content, digital, marketing and own brand teams to deliver cohesive storytelling, brand consistency, omnichannel cohesion and to promote collaboration, skill sharing and creative excellence.

You will liaise with stakeholders including Production Managers, Studio & Traffic Manager, Marketing and Brand Managers and Head of Creative Services to ensure smooth progress of jobs across the Creative & Production teams. This includes continuously reviewing, developing and driving best in class design work as well as supporting and leading the ‘always on’ skill development across the Design team.

About you and your skills
- 6 + years experience within a creative agency or similar environment.
- Deep understanding of the retail environment and omnichannel creative execution.
- Proven experience/ folio in delivering outstanding design across both the digital and print space.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and pivot quickly in response to shifting priorities.
- Understanding of accessibility in the design space
- Mentoring and people leadership experience
- Deep industry engagement, ensuring you’re across creative and technological trends in a fast changing industry.
