We are seeking compassionate and skilled **Disability Support Workers** to join our team on a casual basis. This role involves supporting clients to achieve their goals, participate in the community, and enhance their daily living skills in line with their individual needs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide person-centered support to clients in their homes and the community.
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients in developing independent living skills, such as meal preparation and household tasks.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, and community activities.
- Monitor and document client progress and report any changes in their needs or circumstances.
- Implement behavior management strategies as per individual care plans.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment that upholds the dignity and rights of each client.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, or a related field.
- Previous experience in disability support, community care, or a related role.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and National Police Check.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and comprehensive car insurance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Flexible availability, including the ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

**Desirable**:

- Experience with clients who have high-support needs or complex behaviors.
- Understanding of the NDIS and its frameworks.
- Knowledge of assistive technologies and mobility aids.

Pay: $30.32 - $51.63 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 48 per week
