Light disability services is seeking dedicated Male Support Workers preferably Australian Maori or Islander to join our compassionate team in Campbelltown NSW. As a casual Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and assistance to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and lead fulfilling lives. What **you'll be doing**
- Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
- Providing companionship and social engagement to promote the wellbeing and independence of our clients
- Implementing individualised care plans to meet the unique needs and preferences of each client
- Reporting any changes in client's condition or needs to the care team
- Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Collaborating with the wider care team to ensure seamless service delivery

**What we're looking for**
- Relevant experience in aged care, disability support, or a similar care-oriented role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and a flexible, adaptable mindset
- Commitment to upholding the dignity, privacy, and rights of our clients
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- A valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation
