**How will I help?**
The Team Manager plays an integral role in the facilitation and development of a cohesive team environment and is responsible for ensuring the effective management of all business processes, people, risks and dependencies across the team.
You will be managing and leading a multi-brand team within Financial Crime Surveillance that delivers compliance and customer outcomes across all Westpac Group brands.
**Some of the key accountabilities are**:
- Optimise team member performance through objective setting, monitoring performance, coaching and developing to maximise their growth and potential
- Manage the business using the Active Operations Management principles and disciplines (AOM) to deliver Operational Excellence
- Analyse key performance indicators to successfully identify the required business management decisions to achieve optimal business outcomes
- Demonstrate an operational understanding of business cost drivers within scope of influence and the proactive implementation of mitigating strategies
- Develop and manage key internal stakeholder relationships to maximise customer experience

**What do I need?**
- Ideally 2 years of people leadership experience or significant experience in financial crime on a senior level
- Demonstrated experience in relationship management for internal stakeholders
- Ability to utilise business metrics to manage operations and drive efficiency
