**Overview**
NSAA Security is seeking a **Cybersecurity Sales Specialist** with strong technical expertise and a consultative approach to drive business growth across Australia and international markets. This role is ideal for professionals experienced in delivering impactful product demos, leading pilots, and engaging in high-level security discussions with CISOs, CIOs, and IT leaders.
You’ll help prospects and clients understand how NSAA Security’s comprehensive cybersecurity services—including advisory, risk management, and threat protection—support their strategic goals and compliance obligations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Client Demonstrations**: Lead compelling demonstrations of NSAA Security’s solutions and services to prospective clients.
- **Consultative Engagement**: Collaborate with clients to understand their cybersecurity architecture, compliance drivers, and risk appetite. Deliver tailored recommendations aligned with their objectives.
- **Proof-of-Value Initiatives**: Manage pilot engagements to validate the effectiveness of our services and solutions in real-world environments.
- **Technical Workshops**: Facilitate workshops to help clients design, implement, and maintain security frameworks and controls.
- **Security Advisory**: Provide ongoing guidance to internal and external stakeholders—including NSAA Security clients—on security best practices for both cloud and on-premises ecosystems.
- **Strategic Consulting**: Review client security strategies, assess their current posture, and provide actionable improvement plans based on industry standards and risk frameworks.
- **Regulatory Compliance Support**: Assist clients in aligning their security programs with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, Essential Eight, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- **Subject Matter Expertise**: Serve as a trusted expert across cybersecurity domains including Cloud Security, Network Security, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), and Threat & Vulnerability Management.
- **Thought Leadership**: Represent NSAA Security at industry events, webinars, and executive roundtables. Share insights, trends, and best practices with the broader security community.
**Skills & Experience Required**
- Proven experience in cybersecurity consulting, technical sales, or pre-sales engineering roles.
- Solid understanding of enterprise security frameworks, architectures, and compliance obligations.
- Experience working with both cloud and on-premises security environments.
- Strong ability to lead client conversations, deliver presentations, and build trusted relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident in engaging with senior stakeholders, including CISOs and senior IT decision-makers.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or at least 5 years experience in cybersecurity in lieu of formal tertiary qualifications
- Background in cybersecurity services sales, security architecture, or technical advisory roles.
- Familiarity with third-party risk management or vendor risk practices.
- Experience working with government, healthcare, critical infrastructure, or other regulated sectors.
