Accounts Receivable Officer. $75k+ Super + Other Benefits

**Your new company**

Our client is a start-up business with phenomenal growth over the last 2 years. They are based at Pyrmont, and are looking for a permanent Accounts Receivable Officer to join their team.
The role is an essential part of the business and manages and controls the good financial standing of the company with its commitment to customer service to its clients.

**Your new role**

Reporting to the Financial Manager, your main responsibilities will be;
- Ensure data that is transferred from CRM to ERP is accurate and ready to invoice
- Prepare and send invoices
- Maintain billing schedules for invoicing
- Assist with project Revenue Recognition
- Maintain Aged AR report
- Verify the validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, customer service departments and customers
- Assist Account Executives and Customer Success Managers invoicing questions
- Solving customer queries and issues
- Support the month end process
- Assist the broader Finance team with ad hoc tasks

**What you'll need to succeed**

**Experience**:

- 3 years of prior experience in accounting is required
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Experience using multiple software platforms simultaneously
- Experience with Xero and will be highly regarded
