This global manufacturer is looking to hire a new Accounts Payable Officer to join its busy and vibrant team. Reporting to the AP Manager and supported by the Finance Manager this role offers a great opportunity for long term stability and growth for the right individual. **Your new role**

You will be interviewed for the role of Accounts Payable Officer. Within this role your duties will include but not be limited to:

- Accurately process supplier invoices for payment including matching to Purchase Orders.
- Carry out creditor account reconciliations including reconciliation of payments to supplier statement.
- Diagnose and correct erroneous transactions in SAP that impact on Accounts Payable.
- Review the Goods Received - Invoice Received (GRIR) Report and ensure that unmatched items are cleared on a monthly basis.
- Responsibility for Expense Claim processing & review and Concur system administration.
- Prepare and run accurate cheque and EFT payment runs.
- Answer and resolve Accounts Payable, management, supplier and business unit enquiries.
- Assist in the preparation of the weekly Cash Flow forecast.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports.
- Adopt an attitude of continuous process improvement, constantly reviewing processes, investigating better ways of doing things and implementing efficiencies.
- Maintain and update the Delegated Financial Authority (DFA) Register as required.
- File accounts payable documentation.
- Provide back-up administrative support as required (reception, banking, mail).
- Ad/hoc reporting and queries.
- To provide a high level of service to internal and external customers
- To fully understand the purchasing-to-payables process in SAP

**What you'll need to succeed**

You will have previous experience in Accounts Payable. Previous exposure to SAP or a large ERP system is highly advantageous. You will be an excellent communicator and capable of working within a team environment.
