Lloyd’s List Intelligence is now recruiting for a Corporate Accounts Manager in our Australia office.

**Job Description**:
We are currently looking for an outstanding Corporate Accounts Manager based in Australia to join our Maritime & Law Sales team and grow our Australasia business

The Corporate Accounts Manager is responsible for the entire sales process and will execute against sales goals with respect to forecasting and revenue attainment. This generally includes managing a renewable account base, prospecting, sourcing and qualifying and disqualifying new business opportunities, learning customer decision/making process, creating and maintaining accurate forecasts, negotiating contracts, closing business in a timely manner, and fully comprehending our Maritime Intelligence unique value proposition.

**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Accountability for driving revenue growth across the vertical to exceed expectations, including identification of revenue drivers and metrics to focus on increasing account volume, profit and penetration
- Drive the entire sales process from start to finish from prospecting & opportunity identification, cold calling, pitching, setting up client meetings, doing product demonstrations, through to negotiations and closing of the sale
- Manage a pipeline of inbound and self-sourced leads to identify, engage, and develop relationships with potential prospects
- Educate and guide prospects through the buyer’s journey to help them understand how Lloyd’s List Intelligence can help drive their business goals and objectives
- Monitoring performance-to-plan throughout the financial year and adjusting direction, focus and sales initiatives as needed to deliver volume commitments
- Providing forecasting within a 95% accuracy
- Diligently keep informed of product developments, competitor movements and industry trends to stay ahead of the curve
- Working with Product Management to use customer feedback and analytical insights in the formation of new products/solutions
- Giving the highest priority to customer satisfaction by maintaining effective interpersonal relationships with and listening to customers
- Contribute effectively to a highly driven, yet collaborative and cohesive team dynamic
- Attend and participate in industry and networking events to support awareness, lead generation, and brand building activities
- Some travel is required

**Qualifications**:

- 3 - 5 years sales experience with demonstrable ability to extend and add to existing revenue streams within a defined account base within the Maritime sector
- Prior experience cold calling, booking, and conducting software demos, & exposure to sales processes from prospecting to closing of deals
- Additional experience within either Finance, Trade Finance, Shipping or Governmental sectors would be ideal
- Must be flexible with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with all colleagues
- Highly motivated by closing sales and working in an environment focused on exceeding targets
- Strong relationship building skills
- Highly self-motivated, competitive and results driven
- Passionate, positive, and enthusiastic
