Company & Benefits:This well established and highly visible business is seeking a Corporate Accountant with experience in financial systems, reporting, and accounting integrity to support their evolving operations and reporting requirements. 

This is a wide ranging role and will touch on all aspects financial operations and control.

In addition the business will be introducing a new accounting software system over the coming year, as such you will be significantly involved in both BAU and transformation focussed activities.

The Role:

Reporting into the Finance Manager, the Corporate Accountant will be responsible for all aspects of financial reporting and related activities. 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Management and financial reporting responsibilities across multiple P&L's
  • Management of the finance systems and processes
  • Responsible for cost management, stock valuation, general ledger
  • Budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
  • Payroll, BAS, GST, FBT and liaison with ATO
  • Overseeing cash management, treasury and AP
  • Customer billings and receivables management through AR
  • Assist in the migration to a new system
  • Preparation of accounting function for transition to new software environment
  • Restructure existing financial reports

*Skills & Experience:*The ideal candidate will be experienced in Financial & Management Accounting and will have:

  • Hold a professional accounting qualification
  • Experience in implementing financial systems change or working in transformative environment
  • High proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
  • High level Excel user
  • Office based 4 days per week
