**Employ Me Labour Hire Newcastle** are currently seeking experienced Plant Fitters for our client in **Newcastle.**

Our client leading plant hire company specialize in conveyor plant systems for clients at the mines and whereever they need their services. So to be consider for this role you need to have a great work ethic, work well in a team and customers, great communication skills.

**The job**:

- Mechanical Fitter Trade certificate.
- Undertaking scheduled preventative maintenance checks on plant equipment.
- Daily pre and post start plant checks.
- Rotating, adjusting, and replacing parts and equipment where required to ensure greater efficiency in the facility.
- A strong focus on the facility's conveyor belts.
- Responding to site breakdowns, identifying faults and complete repairs.
- Diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Studying drawings and specifications to determine suitable machinery settings, materials, and method of operation.
- Work well in a team.
- Own Transportation & Valid Drivers Licence.

**Salary**: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

- Travel reimbursement

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Newcastle, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Mechanical Fitter: 3 years (preferred)
- Plant Fitter: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
