Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated CHPP Technician - Mechanical Plant & Support to join our safety and result-driven team. This role involves assisting in frontline delivery of the mechanical engineering control plan, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing electrical apparatus in accordance with Australian and mine standards, and proactively working with the CHPP team to ensure asset management and production targets are achieved.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Mechanical Tradesperson (Fitter/Boilermaker) who has previous experience as a Mechanical technician in a CHPP or fixed plant industrial setting. You will have a high regard for your personal safety and the safety of your teammates, and be able to follow a plan and adapt to a challenging and dynamic environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualified Mechanical Tradesperson (Fitter/Boilermaker)
  • Previous experience as a Mechanical technician in a CHPP or fixed plant industrial setting
  • Familiarity with crushers, conveyors, vibrating screens, centrifuges, industrial pumps, and similar equipment
  • Ability to follow a plan and adapt to a challenging and dynamic environment
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to working proactively
