Permanent Maintenance Fitter

We're looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join a well-established leader based in Newcastle. This role is perfect for someone with a strong mechanical trade background who thrives in a safety-first environment and is keen to work with heavy fixed plant and equipment.

Your Role Will Include:
- Carrying out breakdown repairs and preventative servicing on fixed plant machinery
- Diagnosing faults and overhauling gearboxes, pumps, and other heavy mechanical systems
- Assisting with workshop rebuilds and maintaining plant reliability
- Following strict WHS standards to ensure a safe working environment
What You'll Need:
- Previous experience with heavy industrial equipment
- Solid knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics (advantageous)
- Forklift and dogging tickets highly regarded
