**Why this role?**

At Ballarat Community Health, we’re here for one purpose: creating healthy communities. We provide accessible, affordable, and high-quality health and wellbeing services to tackle the health challenges facing our region. As a not-for-profit, we’re passionate about meeting the diverse needs of our community. What we do matters - and so do you.

This is more than just a job - it’s your opportunity to contribute to a Commonwealth Government-supported initiative, coordinated by WestVic PHN, that’s shaping the future of mental health and AOD services across our region. With Royal Commission recommendations driving change, this is an exciting time to be part of a service making a real difference.

As our Integrated AOD & Mental Health Clinician, you’ll work in a dynamic team to deliver a range of clinical services, including:

- Intake, assessment, and care planning tailored to individual needs.
- Therapeutic interventions and treatment coordination to help clients achieve positive outcomes.
- Case management and discharge planning that supports clients throughout their journey.
- Group facilitation designed to empower individuals and foster community wellbeing.

Our approach is straightforward, compassionate, and centered on each client’s unique needs.

**What you’ll bring to the team**

We’re seeking someone with:

- Broad clinical expertise: Experience supporting the mental health and AOD needs of children, adolescents, and adults.
- Exceptional communication and empathy: The ability to connect, build trust, and foster positive relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Adaptability and resilience: Confidence in managing complex cases in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
- Client first mindset: A commitment to personalised, person-centred care that adapts to each client’s situation.

**Why join Ballarat Community Health?**

At BCH, we believe in creating healthy communities, and that starts with taking care of our people.

Here’s what you can expect when you join us:

- Competitive salary packaging: Access up to $15,900 for living expenses and an additional $2,650 for meals and entertainment.
- Make a meaningful impact: Your work will help support individuals and partner organisations, improving lives across the community.
- Flexibility to live your life: Whether it’s starting late for the school run or logging off early for family celebrations, you’ll have the flexibility to work in a way that suits you.
- A supportive, passionate team. You’ll work alongside people who care deeply about community health and each other.
- Wellness and social perks: Take part in wellness programs, staff discounts, and an active social club.
- Supportive culture: Join a collaborative, dedicated team that shares your passion for making a difference.
- Professional growth: Benefit from a partnership-driven program that supports your development and innovation in the mental health and AOD sectors.
