**Position Summary

In this role, as the Co-Pilot to the Head of the Asia, Oceania, Middle East and Africa Region (AOA), the Finance Controller will provide strategic Commercial insights supported by fact-based decision-making, based on current business environment and specialist financial knowledge. By challenging new strategies & new projects, this role play is a key position in our Regional Leadership Team. You will support the design and delivery of the zone AOA (Yearly and MBS) Financial and Strategic targets through proactive management of the Business Reporting and planning processes.

**A day in the life
Reporting to the Head of AOA Region, your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Manage the reporting and operating processes for position's scope in relation to NHSc accounting.
- Manage the business performance assessment process, challenge performance, and proactively suggest solutions to situations (including sales phasing, actuals, DF, risk, etc), incorporating Commercial and Operations teams.
- Lead the QBRs (Qtly business reviews) with each market to review business strategy for alignment to financial plans.
- Lead the QBRs (quarter business reviews) with Global on consolidated understanding of key strategy progression, and financial performance.
- Monthly business reviews on performance for zone AOA markets with Global team on cluster consolidated performance.
- Lead financial resource for Acquisition and integration activities across the zone.
- Analyse sales trends, phasing, pricing and gross to net.
- Develop Targets and assess ICPs from clusters to enable delivery of Targets.
- Develop/challenge business cases for zone initiatives and evaluate post go live performance.
- Drive MBS & ICP with clusters, aligned with SMI & International VMHS group, and develop clear choices, with a roadmap for the future.
- Analyse MOGE evolution and develop/implement plans to optimise. Review and ensure effectiveness of PFME spend.
- Participate in local business reviews/market visits.
- Perform adhoc analysis for Cluster Heads and Sub-Clusters Heads.

**What will make you successful
- Joining a collaborative team, you will be a strong leader with a history of delivering results in a high-pressure environment. You will have strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- You will be Degree qualified in Finance and have 8+ years’ experience in Finance and/or Accounting function. CA/CPA qualification or equivalent is desirable.
- Factory experience is important. Healthcare/Pharma industry experience preferred.
- Experience in interactions with Sr. Leaders and Executive Presence & Strong ability to influence.
- High level of project management skills. Experience working on Mergers & Acquisitions projects and business integration required.
- You will possess good communication skills and have the flexibility to adapt your style to suit your audience.
- Experience working in a global environment and with multicultural virtual teams.
- With stakeholders based in various time zones, flexibility is essential as you participate in teleconferences and activities outside of standard business hours.
