**About the role**:
As a Quality Control Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our pharmaceutical products. Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Conducting biochemistry assays to test proteins, ensuring accuracy, precision, and compliance with established procedures.
- Analysing and interpreting data, performing calculations, and documenting results in accordance with industry guidelines and internal protocols.
- Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring instruments are in optimal working condition.
- Contributing to the development and improvement of analytical methods, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance, to support product development and release.
- Adhering to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to maintain compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards.
- Assisting in general laboratory housekeeping, including inventory management, reagent preparation, and waste disposal.
- Documenting all activities accurately and maintaining organised records for future reference and regulatory audits.
- Participating in regular team meetings, sharing insights, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

**Skills and experience**:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related field.
- Extensive experience from ideally pathology, or pharmaceuticals.
- Proven experience in conducting biochemistry assays to test proteins within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related industry.
- Familiarity with various analytical techniques, including but not limited to capillary electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE, ELISA, and spectroscopy.
- Strong understanding of GxP principles and regulatory requirements relevant to pharmaceutical quality control.
- Attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software for data analysis and documentation.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical information.
