The Human Capital Risk and Compliance Practice includes KPMG ThinkPay and we service all segments of the market that KPMG operates. We are a multidisciplinary team bringing together practical experience and deep expertise across risk assurance, industrial relations, employment law, payroll operations and data analytics to provide an end-to-end service across all human capital risk and compliance services.
With continued growth, we are now looking to recruit a Payroll Administrator to join our Thinkpay team.
**Your Opportunity**
Joining KPMG's Thinkpay team in our Melbourne or Sydney Office.
Our team delivers projects and engagements to support clients with their people risk strategy and operations across payroll, HR, industrial relations, and corporate services.
You will help continue to grow our business through your involvement in the following:
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail with a history of exceptional client service.
- Generalist HR or Payroll operations skills or experience
- Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently
- Management of payroll process including Payroll Tax, PAYG, Superannuation processing.
- Compiling summaries and reports of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages.
- Resolving payroll discrepancies
- Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures
- Developing ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed
**How are you extraordinary?**
- You are a people-person with a client -service mindset who seeks to proactively collaborate and consult across multiple capabilities.
- Good understanding of payroll and people analytics, payroll processes, time and attendance systems is advantageous
- Understanding of modern awards, enterprise agreements, superannuation, leave entitlements is advantageous
- A strong problem solver that can work under pressure with a deadline

- Human Resources Management, Psychology, or other equivalent related Commerce or Business tertiary qualification is highly regarded.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
