**The office is responsible for**:

- ensuring complete and accurate records of the proceedings and decisions of the Assembly
- processing legislation (introduction, amendment and presentation for Royal Assent)
- registering and providing safe custody of and access to all tabled papers and parliamentary records
- liaising with members, ministerial offices and public sector entities on the tabling of documents
- publishing chamber documents and procedural information and statistics on chamber activities
- preparing and publishing the program of business before the Assembly
- conducting research and providing advice on parliamentary procedural matters

**You would be requried to**:

- Undertake administrative functions to support the responsibilities of the First Clerk Assistant and the activities of the office.
- Collate and publish accurate statistics on the work of the Assembly.
- Assist with the processing of tabled papers, including updating the Tabled Papers Database to ensure accuracy and completeness of records stored and assist with the archiving, storage and retrieval of hard copy tabled papers.
- Respond to general inquiries and requests for information from members, clients and the public.
- Assist with projects as directed in a timely and efficient manner.
