Several Finance Officers work in a team that periodically rotate between jobs to deliver a range of tasks related to the Cashier, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, Purchasing, Asset Disposal, Travel and Accounts Payable functions.
Core Responsibilities:
The Finance Officer is expected to:

- Under general direction, with limited supervision, undertake responsibility for the day-to-day processing of finance matters, including:

- Cashier duties including, collection, reconciliation, documentation, receipt and banking of all monies, management of outsourced cash handling services.
- Travel duties include co-ordination of travel arrangements with staff and suppliers, creation of movement requisitions, processing travel allowance and cab charge vouchers/Uber for Business, completion of travel acquittals, and arranging official passports and visas.
- Daily and monthly reconciliations of all bank accounts including EFTPOS, online receipts and credit card transactions.
- Asset Disposal, maintain workflow for the disposal of all assets.
- Creation and management of system master data as related to the specific function.
- Liaise with customers, vendors and Memorial Staff and provide assistance and training where required.
- Participate in the general provision of financial management services to the Memorial and section clients as required.
