We have two maximum-term full-time vacancies within our Revenue and Recovery section. The positions work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver outstanding customer service to our rate payers and stakeholders, providing accurate, up to date information for the raising and recovery of rates and charges. Assistant Revenue Officer - Rating Services
- Assist with the processing of notice of transfers and maintain Council's Property Information System, including rating land and property records, name and address integrity, and the levying of rates and charges through supplementary levies and processes.

Assistant Revenue Officer - Recovery Services
- Assist with the efficient and effective recovery of outstanding rates, water usage and debtor charges.

- **We are seeking**:

- an eye for detail to ensure accuracy of database entries
- basic accounting skills
- skills and experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
- experience in data entry, manipulation and retrieval of data
- motivated with a positive can-do attitude

- A level of literacy, numeracy and general education associated with Year 12 or equivalent education.
- Capacity to work effectively within a team environment.

- Skills and experience in a similar role.
- Rating Services position - Knowledge of rating and/or accounts receivable processes.
- Recovery Services position - Knowledge of debt collection and credit management practices along with experience in debt recovery or similar role.
