We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organised individual to join our Revenue and Recovery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to rate payers and stakeholders, providing accurate and up-to-date information for the raising and recovery of rates and charges.

This is a great opportunity to develop your clerical, administrative and communication skills in a dynamic and supportive team environment. You will have the chance to work collaboratively with colleagues to process notice of transfers, maintain Council's Property Information System and assist with the levying of rates and charges.

The ideal candidate will possess basic accounting skills and experience with Microsoft Excel and Word. They will also have strong data entry, manipulation and retrieval skills, as well as excellent keyboard skills.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Assisting with the efficient and effective recovery of outstanding rates, water usage and debtor charges.
  • Maintaining accurate records and databases.
  • Providing high-quality customer service to rate payers and stakeholders.

In return, we offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary ranging from $58,275 per annum with competency-based increments up to $66,768 per annum, plus 11% super. You will also receive a 70 hour, 9 day fortnight and 12 month maximum term contract. We value training and development opportunities and offer flexible work options for a healthy work/life balance.
