The primary purpose of this Line 1 role is to support the Consumer General Manager Risk & Compliance to deliver on key milestones relating to Day 1 operating model for Risk and Compliance including providing Risk in change support over the strategic program.

**About the role**- Design and lead plan for Risk in change and advisory for Strategic Programs to ensure compliance with organisational standards and regulatory obligations, and leading Risk in Change assessments in accordance with policy to support program implementation milestones.- Oversee, manage, and document that core risk and compliance activities are identified and integrated successfully into BAU Op Model across L1 R&C functions.- Establish and manage pre-day 1 requirements as it relates to updating key Line 1 risk, compliance, and governance documentation.- Identify and establish any be-spoke requirements, reporting and risk governance as it may relate to the changes.- Responsible for driving any gap assessments and assurance activities required for integration.- Strategic advice to relevant functions on establishing supervision & monitoring practices including remediation activities.- Supporting divisional change activities for risk and compliance deliverables, including controls and assurance, and working closely with key divisional stakeholders to support embedment with tailored post-implementation reviews.-
- Designing and delivering any targeted or thematic reviews in support of Program management, including framework and risk owners.- Supporting the management of Program-related Incidents and Breaches by leading program activities on incident notification and investigation, liaising with key stakeholders to manage the rectification, remediation, and closure of incidents, and supporting management in investigating root causes and control strengthening activities.- Driving a strong risk and compliance culture across the Program by acting as a trusted adviser with proactive advice, review, and challenge of the Program's approach to managing risk, and supporting the Program in complying with the organisation's risk and compliance management framework and in identifying and managing risks.- Communicating and advising Program management of responsibilities as framework owners and risk owners, namely regarding risk identification, the implementation of risk controlling mechanisms, risk monitoring, and continued compliance with local regulatory and Allianz SE standards.

**About you**- Extensive risk and compliance management experience for a complex, matrixed financial services organisation. Experience in a program lead relationship role for a complex, matrixed financial services or general insurance organisation.- Demonstrated extensive financial services risk and compliance experience across Line 1 and Line 2 in both technical and leadership roles.- Demonstrated technical understanding of effective controls and how to assess and evidence design and operating effectiveness of controls.- Demonstrated evidence of successfully leading and delivering projects within time, budget and resource constraints and sustaining outcomes. Exceptional communication and orchestration skills required.- Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders to establish strong professional relationships and influence outcomes,- Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity and provide pragmatic commercial solutions to meet stakeholder expectations.- Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patters, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, and influence, positively influencing risk behaviours throughout AAL.

Please note this is a 12-month secondment/fixed term contract opportunity.
