Active Tree Services are looking for a Commercial Analyst to join our team based in Edwardstown, SA.

**The Role**:
Reporting into the General Manager, you will collect and analyse data to uncover insights into business performance across multiple units. You’ll develop and maintain reports and dashboards to clearly communicate financial and operational results to key decision-makers. A core part of your responsibilities will include evaluating current business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to boost efficiency and productivity.

You will also collaborate with business leaders to develop annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts. By monitoring actual performance against budget, you’ll identify variances and recommend corrective actions. Additionally, you’ll refine forecasting models to improve accuracy and contribute to strategic planning through financial insights and scenario analysis.

**What we need from you**:

- 5 + years in a similar role
- Degree in Business Management, Finance or Accounting
- A CPA or equivalent accounting diploma is a plus
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBi)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with keen attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with the capability to convey complex concepts to stakeholders
- A "roll up the sleeves" attitude towards problem-solving
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing competing priorities.
