**About the Role**
Join our client as the EL 1 Assistant Director, People and Culture. Lead strategic HR initiatives at a time of significant transformation and help shape the future of HR as they transition to a new employment model. This role offers the opportunity for a HR Generalist to build HR foundations, support workforce transitions, and drive a range of HR functions critical to the client's future.
**Key Opportunities**

- **Operate Autonomously**: Take ownership of strategic HR initiatives and deliver impactful outcomes.
- **Mentor and Coach**: Guide and develop less experienced team members, fostering their professional growth.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Leadership & Capability Development**: Implement programs to build leadership skills and align workforce capabilities with strategic goals.
- **Performance Management**: Lead the performance management framework and support managers in evaluating performance.
- **Culture, Wellbeing & Inclusion**: Develop and execute diversity, equity, and inclusion programs, alongside wellbeing initiatives.
- **Workforce Insights**: Manage the People Survey, using data to shape HR programs and initiatives.
- **HR Strategy & Workforce Planning**: Contribute to workforce planning, ensuring HR initiatives align with organisational goals.
- **Stakeholder Management**: Collaborate with senior leaders and key stakeholders to integrate HR initiatives and enhance employee experience.
- **Team Leadership**: Provide direction and professional development for team members to ensure high-quality HR service delivery.

- **Coaching & Mentoring**: Strong leadership skills to develop and support team members in their HR careers.
- **Professional Judgement**: Capability to use HR analytics to inform policy and decision-making.
