**About the Role**

This role is responsible for providing technical support and training to Account Managers, Customer Service and Capral's fabricator base in Victoria.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with Capral’s Fabricator network.
- Conduct training for Account Managers and Customer Service team members.
- Proactively provide product training, selection, relevant tooling, and technical knowledge support to new and existing fabricators.
- Provide support to fabricators on estimation software.
- Assist fabricators with set up of new tooling and maintenance of existing tooling.
- Conduct routine visits to all Capral fabricators with tooling to ensure tools are maintained.
- Monitor competitor activity and recommend appropriate upgrades / product development concepts for Capral.
- This position is fulltime and will require the incumbent to work outside of the normal scope of hours and to travel to meet customer demands etc.

**Essential**
- At least 5 years aluminium and glass fabrication experience.
- Ability to read window schedules, plans and shop drawings.
- Technical experience and competence to support decision-making (inclusive of Industry Standards and Regulatory knowledge).
- Excellent written and verbal communication / interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence others at various levels.
- Well-developed time management skills and the ability to work with a high degree of personal initiative and limited supervision.
- Valid Australian drivers’ licence and an ability to travel.
- Experience in a similar role within aluminium or industrial building products market.
