**About the role**
Reporting to the Network Operations Shift Lead, you will be responsible in operating the existing Defence High Frequency Communications System (DHFCS) to provide communications support to the Australian Defence Force and support the implementation and operation of the upgraded Enhanced Defence High Frequency Communications System (EDHFCS).
- Some of your key responsibilities will include:_
- Performing and delivering contracted operations support
- Conducting initial investigations into system failures and reliability problems and maintain accurate records
- Complying with Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs)
- Achieve competency to operate DHFCS and EDHFCS Mission Systems
- Ensure any administration duties are completed a required
- Comply with HS&E policy and regulations
- Maintain high security system and operational requirements
**About you**
You will have at least one year demonstrated HF operational experience, preferably in a Defence environment and an ability to obtain an NV-2 security clearance. Trade qualifications in communications or network engineering are also desirable.
