Due to an internal promotion, WesTrac are looking for an innovative and motivated Technology Area Manager to join our team.
Reporting to the Service Operations Manager - Technology, this role is responsible for overseeing the safety, financial and operational performance of the regional technology operations team who conduct MineStar product installations, commissioning, project execution and after sales support regionally across Western Australia. This individual will be required to demonstrate management of a positive customer experience and effective operational leadership, whilst being responsible for providing coaching and mentoring to their teams and driving a culture that is safe, productive and enjoyable.
Integral to this position is the requirement to effectively manage efficient operations by working closely with the sales, customer performance and planning teams to ensure both sales leads and planned work are proactively resourced and actioned.
**About You**:
- Hold a relevant tertiary or trade qualification
- Have significant post trade and industry related experience
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities to achieve tight deadlines
- Have advanced leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire, influence and motivate
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise at a high level and diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
- High level of initiative and problem-solving skills with the ability and drive to follow through with required actions
- Strong knowledge of business drivers, customer needs, managing financial outcomes and commercial processes and systems
- Be able to set and clearly communicate business targets and expectations aligned with SPARC values
- Previous Caterpillar Dealer experience and/or an understanding of Caterpillar’s MineStar product would be an advantage
