We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team at Oakey Defence. As a Commercial Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our community.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform general cleaning duties, including mopping, sanitation, and maintaining cleanliness in designated areas.
- Execute cleaning tasks with attention to detail, ensuring all areas are well-maintained and meet hygiene standards.
- Manage laundry services, including washing, folding, and maintaining the cleanliness of linens and uniforms.
- Uphold confidentiality standards while handling sensitive materials and information.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to established procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, ensuring a smooth workflow and excellent service delivery.
- Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor while interacting with colleagues, visitors, and clients.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines and ensure efficiency.
- Ensure proper maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any malfunctions or restocking needs promptly.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in cleaning or similar background.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to understand and follow instructions effectively.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, demonstrating reliability and self-motivation.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring thorough cleaning and maintenance of all areas.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to adhere to established guidelines.
- Understanding of hygiene standards and the ability to maintain cleanliness in accordance with regulations.
- Responsible and trustworthy, handling confidential materials with utmost care.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced setting with changing priorities.
- Ability to pass police check, pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening, and security check
- Must be Australian Citizen
