The Opportunity
Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Maintenance Controller to join our team located at Army Aviation Centre Oakey, Queensland. Main focus will be on the CH-47F (Chinook) aircraft maintenance servicing requirements and require a keen eye for detail to review for synergies of hangar maintenance tasks across the platform. Members of this team will be required to support up to two deployed operations within Australia for a period of 4-8 weeks each year. This role is required to work shifts including day, afternoon and night during the week. In the Maintenance Coordinator position, you are also expected to work reasonable hours of overtime to ensure the customers operational outcomes are achieved on any given day.

**Responsibilities**:

- Carry out daily coordination with the Flight Line Maintenance Coordinator's (FLMC) and Maintenance Control (MC) Lead to ensure a well-planned maintenance schedule to support daily flying and major deployments;
- Attend the Customer's Flight Briefings, to present the flying support and maintenance plan for the day, highlighting spares status and or limitations to flying program;
- Attend the fortnightly production meeting where the company provides the customer with updates to maintenance activities, review schedule and logistic support.
- Daily, weekly and monthly reporting requirements.
- Act as coordinator between multiple stakeholders to enable maintenance plan to be executed effectively.

Experience/Qualifications
- A strong background and an in-depth knowledge of aircraft maintenance;
- Be familiar with maintenance planning requirements, including maintenance planning software programs;
- Skills to develop and implement new policies, and maintenance programs that will enhance maintenance operations;
- A strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office products (in particular excel).
- A minimum of three to five years of military or commercial aircraft maintenance experience in a planning or coordination role;
Be an Australian Citizen to meet Project and Defence security requirements.
