We are seeking a dedicated, innovative Digital Literacy Specialist Teacher join our team in 2025. This is a full-time role **commencing Term 3, 2025.**
The role of Digital Literacy Specialist Teacher is to support the strategic vision of the college and Library and Digital Literacy Department. The role involves facilitating technology integration, designing, and implementing professional development, and delivering the Technologies curriculum across K-12. Key responsibilities include working collaboratively to meet college and departmental goals; delivering, assessing, and reporting on student progress in Technologies; supporting college-wide digital literacy initiatives; and, supporting and evaluating educational technology use in the college. The role also focuses on developing and supporting strategies to ensure the safe, appropriate, and responsible use of technology in the college community.

The successful applicant will have:
- A Bachelor of Education or a degree qualification supported by a Post Graduate Diploma of Education
- Current Teacher Registration Board of WA Membership and Working with Children card (WWC).
- Recognition as a Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) or similar accreditation.

- An outstanding ability to integrate digital literacy skills into the learning environment, fostering the development of future-ready skills.
- Demonstrated ability to use technology to provide differentiated learning opportunities for students.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate and lead innovative cross-curricular projects which enhance learning outcomes.
- An excellent understanding of the Digital Technologies curriculum
- Demonstrated ability to support teachers in their implementation of blended learning.
- Ability to employ engaging, phase appropriate delivery methods in teaching from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12.
