We are seeking a passionate and experienced Gifted & Talented Education Specialist Teacher to join our Junior School from Term 1, 2026. This is a part-time role (approx. 0.7 FTE), offered as a two-year maximum term appointment with the possibility of permanency thereafter.

Your Role in the Learning Adventure:

EMBRACE – Champion the unique potential of gifted and talented students, fostering confidence and curiosity.

CREATE – Design and implement engaging programs that extend learning beyond the classroom.

SOAR – Identify, track, and nurture exceptional learners to help them reach their full potential.

BLAZE – Collaborate with staff and external providers to build innovative enrichment opportunities.

IMPACT – Lead a culture of excellence and inspire a love of challenge and discovery across the College.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor of Education (or degree + Post Graduate Diploma of Education)
  • Mini-Certificate of Gifted Education (Mini-COGE) or equivalent professional learning
  • Current TRBWA registration, National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)
  • Demonstrated expertise in differentiation and enrichment for high-ability learners
  • Commitment to Penrhos College values and student wellbeing
