**About this Opportunity**
As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital and valued role in delivering a range of services to our participants, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives at home and within the community.
We have immediate availability for shifts in Beenleigh area, and potential for shifts on the GC (Robina to Pimpama), Brisbane South and Logan areas.
The role may involve:
- Assistance with community access and recreational activities
- Providing daily living assistance with showering, personal hygiene, dressing, prompting medications, help at mealtimes and general mobility (in-home or SIL)
- Light domestic assistance, including meal preparation, cooking, cleaning and laundry to maintain a hygienic home environment
- Manual handling and/or the use of equipment to support mobility, such as wheelchairs, standing frames and hoists
- Transport to enable participation in the community, social engagement, and daily life activities
- Companionship and social support, such as support with learning a new skill or being involved in the community
- Supporting with implementation of physical therapy plans
- Experience with dementia, intellectual disability, complex MH, ABI, and behavioural

**About You**:
To excel as a Support Worker at MAS, you will need these **non-negotiables**:
- Related Qualifications such as: Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support, Aged Care and/or Home and Community Care Assistants in Nursing (AIN) or Endorsed Enrolled Nurses (EEN)
- Relevant industry experience (min 12 months - no exceptions)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Current First Aid Certificate and Current CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate(s)
- Provide or obtain a recent police check
- A valid Driver's License and a reliable, registered, comprehensively insured vehicle
- A genuine commitment to enriching the lives of others
- Knowledge of established work practices and procedures relevant to the industry
- Flexibility to work on a 24/7 rotating roster, including regular days, evenings, awake shifts, sleepovers, and weekend shifts
- Willing and able to use a personal smartphone (iPhone or Android) for shift software reporting
- Unrestricted rights to work in Australia
- High level computer, communication, and interpersonal skills
