**About the Project**:
The John Holland & Gamuda Joint Venture have been awarded the M1 Pacific Motorway from Black Hill to Tomago within the City of Newcastle and Port Stephens Council local government areas. This major project will provide increased road capacity via the 10KM of new dual carriageway, reducing congestion and travel times for residents, improving accessibility for the surrounding road network and improved road safety for all users.

**About the Role**:
We are currently looking for Project Environmental experts of all levels of experience. To play a key role to support and monitor the implementation of project environment programs to ensure adherence with relevant environmental legislation, regulations, contractual obligations and John Holland Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.
**Responsibilities of the role include**:
- Provide environmental guidance, diligence, and consistency to internal stakeholders
- Support the development, implementation, and ongoing management of project environmental management systems
- Communicate environment matters to management and project staff as appropriate
- Support the management of environmental consultants and undertake field monitoring as required
- Report environmental performance, compliance, and defects
- Ensure management is informed of any relevant changes to legal, regulatory and project environmental requirements
