**ABOUT THE COMPANY**
We are an SME based in Kings Park and we have an opportunity for a Bookkeeper / Office Assistant to join our team.
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
This role requires basic accounting knowledge/skills, system experience to maintain the daily records and present timely reports to our external accountant.
**JOBS & RESPONSIBILITY**
- Excellent XERO and computer skills
- Timely reports to Tax agent to lodge BASes, and returns.
- Prepare balance sheets, P & L
- Day to day data entry, AP, AR, Payroll and Bank reconciliations
- Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements
- Prepare regular financial reports to management
- Answer phones, handle inquiries and liaise with customers/suppliers when required
- General admin duties and some PA work is involved.
**KEY REQUIREMENTS**:
Ability to multitask and be efficient
Strong and proven accounting skills / Time management skills
Reporting skills / Deadline-oriented skills
Excellent planning, organization and computer skills
High degree of accountability and attention to detail
Proven ability to be a team player and work independently
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:
A minimum of a Bachelor Degree in accounting, and a minimum of two years work experience in Australia.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
