
Customer Service/ Retail Assistant

We are currently hiring an experienced **customer service** **/* **Retail assistant* to work in our Trade store located at our site in **Canning Vale WA.**
**This is an Indigenous

**Your key responsibilities include, but not limited to**:
- First point of call for all telephone and front counter-based sales enquiries
- Build and cultivate relationships with our customers face to face and over the phone
- Process customer orders as well as credits
- Problem solving and complaint resolution
- Reconciliation of daily cash and EFTPOS transactions for banking
- Participate in store replenishment exercises
- Undertake warehouse duties as required (includes some picking and packing)
**To be successful, you will have**:
- Previous Trade Counter and/or Customer service experience within a hardware store preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate with a ‘customer first’ mentality
- A proactive and positive attitude with a highly motivated work ethic
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in providing bold ideas to improve the customer experience
- Experience with or an understanding of the industrial product market would be highly valued
**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Geraldton WA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
