Our new highly specialised Professional Services Small Business Banking team are looking for an experienced Business Banker or Relationship Manager to join them in managing and growing a portfolio of SME customers.
The Professional Services Manager is a customer interfacing role which proactively manages the customer relationships and meet their needs by providing fully integrated financial service solutions through the most cost effective and appropriate channels. Critical to the success of this role is the ability of the Manager to develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to grow their portfolio with new customers
Reporting to the Region Manager Professional Services, the role is part of a newly created specialised team providing financial advisory services, fully integrated financial solutions and risk management for customers with Business Lending and Business Deposits.
The Professional Services team specialise in a variety of customer segments, specifically Accounting Firms, Real Estate Agencies, Financial Planning Firms and Legal Firms.
In this role, a typical day for me will include:
- Developing and managing a portfolio of key business banking customers and referral partners
- Assessing economic value and risk potential of new business
- Educating customers about their business options and providing sound advice about risk and opportunities for growth
- Proactively calling on networks of contacts to help identify new business and referral opportunities
- Implementing initiatives to support customer acquisition in my local market
- Working with customers on their proposed annual business plans
- Preparing and submitting customer lending proposals
- Working with team members
