**Training Registrar Emergency Department**

**Full-time opportunity - 6-12 month position**

**About the Hospital**

St Andrew’s Ipswich Private Hospital, owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, is a 203-bed hospital and is revolutionising private health care in the Ipswich and West Moreton region. We’ve been growing and expanding our clinical capabilities and have recently opened the region’s first private emergency department along with a new intensive care unit which supports the Emergency Department.

The hospital is extremely well-situated, and its management supports and encourages medical staff to achieve work-life balance, while actively supporting their professional development.

**The Opportunity**
- Gain great experience across a wide range of specialties, a varied case mix, be surrounded by supportive consultants; all within a great team environment and awesome culture.
- You will provide a high-quality clinical service to hospital patients under the supervision of clinical supervisors including Registrars, Consultants, and other senior staff within a multidisciplinary team.
- You will work within your ability and expand your knowledge and skills through the available learning opportunities.

**Essential Skills and Experience**
- Eligibility for registration as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Authority (Medical Board)
- Demonstrated clinical and procedural experience as a Registered Medical Practitioner
- Recent experience in an Emergency Department

**Remuneration**

**Requirements**:
Everyone who joins Ramsay:

- Must be **vaccinated against Covid-19, **a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation
- _Must provide a _**National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children** check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases
