A well-known national insurance business which is renowned for developing their staff and promoting their careers has a rare opportunity for an experienced Claims Consultant to join their Norwest office and become part of their expanding national team. **The Opportunity**
Responsible for the end-to-end management of a portfolio of mixed commercial claims, you will enjoy working in an inclusive highly skilled team environment, where you will work alongside a small team of claims managers working across a variety of products.

**About the Role**:

- Responsible for the end-to-end management of your own portfolio of commercial claims
- Liaising with clients and insurers to discuss individual cases and resolve issues which may arise
- Dealing with claims at varying quantum’s taking prompt action to get a positive outcome for the client as quick as possible
- Negotiating with all stakeholders
- Proven ability to build strong lasting relationships to ensure the right decision is reached for the client

**To be successful you should possess the following**:

- You will have experience managing a portfolio of commercial claims
- Ideally you will have knowledge of a variety of insurance products including property, motor and/or liability (if you do not have experience across all these products, training will be provided)
- Experience handling claims from inception through to completion and navigating around any setbacks which arise as well as determining liability
- Customer focused approach, with the proven ability to think outside the box
- Effective and professional communication, negotiation, influencing and strong relationship management skills
- Team focused attitude
- Eager to learn and progress your career in a challenging and supportive environment
- Present a high level of attention to detail
- Be quality focused while able to deal with high volumes of claims
