**Production Supervisor**

The Role:
We have an opportunity, for an experienced and energetic Production Supervisor to join our team at our Gregory Hills industrial bakery, reporting to the Production Manager. In this role you will be a responsible for ensuring the production lines are operating efficiently as well as coaching and developing the team to deliver production targets while driving continuous improvement and engagement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Learn and become an expert in operating the production line giving you the ability to troubleshoot issues and train others.
- Ensure the safe use of equipment and report issues to maintenance
- Ensuring correct procedures are being followed and quality parameters are being met.
- Ensure product specifications are regularly checked/ audited for compliance
- Monitor performance of team and improve levels of output
- Implementing different strategies for continuous improvement
- Ensure all required paperwork and job tasks are performed in full and on time.
- Computer work (printing, cross-checking, matching codes with stock)

To be Successful:

- Previous experience within Manufacturing with a **baking background** being preferable but not essential
- Proven experience as a Production Line Supervisor or similar role
- Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
- Experience in using PLC/Electronic interfaced line
- Experience in adapting and following HACCP guidelines
- Computer skills & knowledge of computer systems
- Current Forklift Licence preferable but not essential
- Strong communication skills
- FULL Australian Working Rights

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
