**About the Role**:
Plan, organize, supervise and participate in the operations and activities of the Warehousing; train, assign, supervise and evaluate assigned staff. Drive and maintain a strong safety culture and environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Managing the warehousing and distribution team to ensure accurate and timely receipt and dispatch of finished product orders for route delivery contractors.
- Create, manage and achieve the overall logistics and customer service department budgets.
- Manage/schedule workload
- Manage casual staff requirements
- Monitor and report on productivity
- Manage Warehouse Operations (WMS superuser)
- producing KPI reports
- Co-ordinate service and repairs for the warehouse racking and MHE’s
- Plan and co-ordinate the Traffic Management Plan
- Enforce a safety culture throughout the warehouse
- Coordinate weekly site inspections and report hazards to management
- Participate in site safety committee

**The successful applicant will possess the following skills**:

- Minimum of two years experience in a similar role
- Forklift and car licence
- Accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage time, meet deadlines and prioritise tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to deal with internal and external customers in a professional manner
- Good team player with the ability to work autonomously
- A high level of commitment and integrity
- Pro-active and self-motivated
