Permanent full-time Payroll Manager in Hindmarsh, for a leading registered NDIS provider.
**Your new company**
Joining on of South Australia’s leading disability service providers in a newly created role. This not-for-profit organisation is committed to providing person-centred care, enabling clients to live more independent and fulfilling lives.
**Your new role**
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will manage and support the payroll team as well as project managing a variety of process improvement strategies. Your duties will also include:
- Calculation of entitlements, superannuation, and long service leave.
- Provide support to managers and staff on payroll related queries including awards, enterprise agreements, and legislations.
- Assist in development, training and planning initiative for the payroll team and members.
- Assist in generation of payroll related reports and auditing
- You will also be involved in various process improvement projects in line with the strategic vision
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in a Payroll Manager or Senior Payroll position (ideally 5 years). You will also have:
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Payroll Administration or equivalent experience.
- Display a proactive approach to improve processes with a willingness to undertake relevant project management initiatives.
- Current DHS and Working with children’s checks (or happy to undertake)
- Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Prior experience understanding and interpreting relevant Modern Awards (social, community, home care and disability services industry award 2010).
