**The Department**

Alfred Infant Child and Youth Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (ICYAMHWS) is friendly to infants, children, young people and their families/carers.

We provide accessible mental health services inclusive of family, friends and support networks.

We are a specialist, multi-disciplinary and intensive care mental health service incorporating the lived and living experience of family peer specialists and youth peer workers.

Our service is divided into two streams 0-11 and 12-26 years, and includes specialist services in the areas of perinatal care, neurodevelopmental presentations, eating disorders and outreach support.

**The Role**
- ICYAMHWS received funding for an in-home intensive early engagement and treatment program for eating disorders
- The program will support young people not responding to community treatment and provide a step-down from acute residential care, including meal coaching and **home-based outreach**:

- The Clinician will be part of an interdisciplinary team, reporting to the Eating Disorders Team Leader
- Care will involve the young person, their family, and support networks, combining lived experience and clinical staff
- The role includes working some evening and Saturday shifts, providing meal support, therapeutic care, and coordination with schools/workplaces

**Qualifications and Experience required**
- Approved tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline and eligibility for membership with the appropriate professional body as outlined below
- Current Victorian Driver Licence
- Experience in working in community mental health especially with young people
- Experience and knowledge of eating disorders
- Occupational Therapist_
- Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia via AHPRA
- Social Worker_
- Approved degree in Social Work
- Eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers
- Registered Psychiatric Nurse_
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA
- Desirable_
- Postgraduate qualifications
- Experience in dialogical practice
