**About the role**
Allygroup is searching for outstanding executive support/EA to join a legal division within a high profile government agency. You will work to the highest standards in government and learn from the best as you work closely with some of the government’s finest senior executives and in-house legal teams.
Some of the duties required include:
- provide liaison, administration, coordination and organisational tasks to support Executives, Managers and legal professionals. The role is varied but generally involves providing executive support to SES and general administrative support to the Branch.
- manage professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders. In particular, maintaining a close working relationship with the General Counsel, teams within Branch, divisional Executive Officers and other EAs is critical.
- manage the General Counsel’s work schedule and all aspects associated with it, including telephone calls, electronic diary appointments and organisation of meetings and relevant papers.
- coordinate Senate Estimates and Ministerial briefs, and other reports and briefs.
- provide administrative support to the Branch, including management and maintenance of meetings rooms, stationery and office equipment.
- actively manage and promote relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- file records in accordance with approved records management processes and security requirements, including management and maintenance of document recording systems.
- perform straight forward research and provide project management assistance.
- coordinate programs, executive meetings and other activities for the Branch.
- provide secretariat support to meetings.
- demonstrate excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- demonstrate well developed verbal and written communication skills
- demonstrate highly developed organisational and time management skills
- demonstrate sound judgment to manage competing priorities
- use initiative to improve administrative processes.
This role is typically fast-paced with rigid timelines, the work may be required outside normal work hours to meet peak work demands. Discretion, tact and diplomacy are required in dealing with sensitive and/or confidential matters.
