**About the role**

The Head of HR, GSM is a hands-on strategic HR partner to the Global Sales & Marketing (GSM) Division covering a footprint of 22 countries. This opportunity is a newly created role and will support a complex environment that demands exceptional team building, coaching, people management and leadership skills.

Working with colleagues located across the globe will require a depth and breadth of knowledge and experience.

The position will require pragmatic HR generalist skills, senior-level experience and sophisticated stakeholder engagement gained in a complex and progressive environment.

The position will ideally work as a team member from our Brisbane office, however, applicants from Sydney or Perth are also encouraged to apply.

**The role will encompass**:

- Strategic, functional and operational HR leadership
- Partnering and collaboration with senior leaders across regions
- Management and optimisation of HR systems and processes e.g., HRIS and payroll
- Ownership over the employee lifecycle and experience
- Establishment of governance, policies and ways of working that facilitate achievement of goals
- Wellness, Health and Safety

***The person we seek will ideally have the following**:

- Ability to deliver strategic and operational HR priorities aligned with business aims and values.
- Experience working in an HR environment across multiple entities and international geographies.
- Experience supporting WHS and wellness strategies and plans.
- Change management and program delivery experience.
- Demonstrated leadership and commercial orientation.
- Flexibility to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time to regions, including Singapore, UAE, India, and China
- Ability to work across multiple time zones.
- Relevant post-secondary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent experience.
