**The Opportunity**:We are seeking a Thought-Leader to manage the day-to-day operations of our General Practice and lead our talented and dynamic team.

**About Our Practice**:Our Medical Practice is a state-of-the-art GP Medical Practice, offering patients ultimate care and service. Our Doctors and our team are selected because of their exceptional training, caring nature and desire to serve the community.
- Our General Practice offers 5-day service and end-to-end patient care
- We are open Monday to Friday
- We offer a fully Bulk Billed consultations for our valued patients
- Our GP's are available for in-person and remote consultations
- Dedicated nurses on hand to develop care plans + assist with all patient needs
- A team of trained reception and admin staff offer support to the role

**More About the Role**:The person we seek musthave previous experience managing a Medical Centre / General Practice and be confident in managing and motivating teams. Tasks include;
- Manage Doctors schedules
- Lead a team of Physicians, nurses, reception and ancillary staff
- Manage rosters and leave
- End-of-Day Balancing
- Medicare Batching / Billing
- Manage Workcover Claims - Submissions
- Create and suggest reward and recognition strategies to ensure retention of both employees and doctors
- Set the tone for a positive culture and _lead the FUN in the workplace_
- Liaise daily and enjoy the _ultimate support_ of our astute Business Manager _(you will never feel alone in this role)_

- 3+ years’ experience as a Practice Manager - ideally in a GP setting
- Competence with Medicare Billing / Batching / Reconciliation
- Confidence and experience mentoring and leading a team
- Desire and availability to work full time (5 days)
- Previous use of Best Practice Medical Software (will be highly regarded)

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
